Asus has unveiled yet another ZenFone 4 selfie focussed variant. Asus has announced the ZenFone 4 Lite in the Philippines, and is a budget smartphone with a focus on the selfie camera. The other specifications of the smartphone are decidedly entry-level. The smartphone comes packed with a Snapdragon 425 SoC and is due to go on sale this month. It has been launched in Deepsea Black, Mint Green, Rose Pink, and Sunlight Gold colour variants. The company is also touting 100GB of free cloud space via Google Drive for 2years.

According to the reports from Philippines-based site Revu, the Asus ZenFone 4 Lite is priced between $156 (roughly Rs. 10,200) and $176 (roughly Rs. 11,500). The smartphone comes with dual-SIM (Nano) capability and runs on Asus ZenUI 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and comes with 2.5D curved glass on top. As we mentioned, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

As for optics, the Asus ZenFone 4 Lite sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). For selfies, the Asus Zenfone 4 bears a 13-megapixel sensor coupled with an f/2.0 aperture and a ‘softlight’ LED flash. The smartphone comes in two storage options – 16GB and 32GB – expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB) along with a dedicated memory card slot.

Connectivity options on the Asus ZenFone 4 Lite includes 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB.

Sensors on the Asus Zenfone 4 Lite includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, fingerprint sensor (on the home button), gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The smartphone measures 155.66×75.9×7.85mm and weighs 144 grams. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
