Asus has introduced its latest nearly bezel-less smartphone in Russia featuring a 5.7-inch display that offers an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Taiwanese company has launched the latest Asus Zenfone Max Plus with some interesting features in its category. The phone will be available in Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold and Azure Silver color variants.

Starting with the specifications. The Asus Zenfone Max Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek 6750T processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM coupled with 16GB/ 32GB of internal storage with expandable storage upto 256GB. The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with ZenUI 4.0 Skin on top.

The Asus Zenfone Max Plus features a metal unibody design with the fingerprint sensor located at the back of the phone. The company claims that the scanner can unlock the smartphone in 0.3seconds.

Apart from the display, the second highlight on the Asus Zenfone Max Plus include a dual camera sensor set up at the back with dual 16MP+8MP sensors. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor located at the rear side of the smartphone.

The Asus Zenfone Max Plus is backed by a massive 4130mAh battery that Asus claims the battery can power the smartphone for upto 26days on 4G standby, offers upto 26hrs of 3G talktime, upto 13hrs of video playback and upto 21hrs of WiFi web browsing time. The handset also supports fast charging.

The Asus Zenfone Max Plus will also come with face unlock feature, just like the one we saw on OnePlus 5T, iPhone X and Oppo F5. As of now the phone is only launched in Russia and we expect it to hit other global markets soon.
