Infinix Hot 4 and Note 4

Infinix, the sub-brand of Transsion Holdings has forayed into Indian smartphone market and launched today its two smartphones – Infinix Note 4 and Infinix Hot 4 Pro. While on one hand the Infinix Hot 4 is priced at ₹7,499, the elder sibling Note 4 is priced at ₹8,999. Let’s take a look at the Infinix Note 4 first and then we’ll talk about the smaller Xiaomi competitor.

The dual SIM Note 4 features a shining metal body build with curved edges. The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone has a dedicated slot for MicroSD card and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with XOS UI layer on top.

The Infinix Note 4 houses a huge 4300mAh battery that comes with 18W Xcharge technology which charges 75% of battery in just 60 minutes.

Optics on the smartphone includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, LED flash and ‘Pro’ modes. It further features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with customizable LED flash to deliver optimum light while clicking selfies.

The fingerprint sensor on the Infinix Note 4 is embedded in the home button. It can also lock apps and capture photos. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS etc. Sensors include G-sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass and gyroscope etc.

Infinix Hot 4 Pro

The Infinox Hot 4 Pro houses a comparatively smaller 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Dual SIM Hot 4 also features a dedicated slot for microSD card. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side, and it packs a 4000mAh battery. The smartphone is also powered by dual speakers with Dirac Stereo Widening technology which is claimed to produce clearer, louder sound with powerful bass.

Optics on the phone includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus and LED flash. It has 5-megapixel front facing camera supported by a soft light flash for capturing bright selfies even in low light.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and GPS support. It also comes with G-Sensor, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor and e-compass. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with layer of XOS UI on top.
