Lenovo launched its latest K-series smartphone with some of the best in class features yesterday. Why best-in-class? Well, the company has come up with some unique specs at an affordable price tag. However, will it be able to beat the Xiaomi obsession, that’s the question all we all are waiting to get answers of! Until we receive the unit for review, we can’t speak whether the Lenovo K8 Note is better than the other similarly priced smartphones or not. For now, let’s just look at the top 5 features of the Lenovo K8 Note smartphones.

Well, these are the top specs that I think you should look at before purchasing the Lenovo K8 Note. At a price tag of less than 15K, most of them are nearly offered by some of the top selling smartphones already. However, the dual camera setup is still an advantage to look at.
Other specifications of the smartphone include a 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash module at the front. The Lenovo K8 is also coming in two variants with either 32GB of Internal Storage or 64GB variant. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The battery supports rapid charging with the bundled 15W rapid charger in the box. The battery is rated to deliver up to 24.7 hours of talk time, and 378 hours of standby time.
The K8 Note measures 154.5×75.9×8.5mm and weighs roughly 180 grams. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It bears a fingerprint rear on the back panel, below the dual camera setup. The company is also touting the smartphone’s Dolby Atmos support for improved audio performance. There’s also a dedicated Music Key on the smartphone, which allows users to launch the music app, and control playback, based on shortcuts.
Pricing of the Lenovo K8 Note starts at ₹12,999, and it will be exclusively available on Amazon India from 12pm IST, August 18. It has been launched in a two variants in India, with a 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant and a 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The higher storage variant is priced at Rs. 13,999. It will be made available in Fine Gold and Venom Black colour variants.
